Maureen: I have been with Union Pet Hospital since August 2009. My husband, Bill, and I have a Boxer-mix named Tootsie. Tootsie is a therapy dog with Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati (the Delta Society). In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, interior decorating, and studying dog behavior. I would like to remind everyone that dogs benefit from daily walks to drain excess energy. The new sights and smells also stimulate their minds, tire them mentally, and helps reduces boredom and destructive behaviors. It’s also an easy and fun way to bond with your dog!

Helpful Tech Assistant

Danielle: My husband Pat and I live here in Union with our kids Allison and Patrick, and our dog Duke. I started working for Dr. Hastings in August 2005 at our Erlanger location. I left there in January 2008 to pursue a career working with kids with special needs at Gray Middle School here in Union. I missed working with animals so much that I decided to come here to UPC and work part-time in August of 2008. I knew I wanted a career that involved animals or kids. Unfortunately, I couldn’t decide which one to pick, so I chose both.

Pet Groomer

Terry: I started in 1978 as an RN but began to realize that my dream was to work with animals. I left the nursing field and volunteered at the Houston Zoo and the Cincinnati Zoo. I became a certified dog and cat groomer in 2007 and have worked and managed a private salon. I own 4 dogs and 3 cats, all of them are rescues.

Friendly Clinic Kitty

Meow….. My name is Vegas. I was born in a barn on a farm. I was lucky enough to be given a job as a greeter at the Union Pet Hospital a long time ago. I spend most of my time sunbathing, playing, and supervising bird exams; but when duty calls, I am ready to donate blood for sick kitties when they need it.
